We respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Your reservation will be held for 15 minutes after your arrival time. After this we may release your table to other guests. 

During busy periods, tables are required more than once and therefore we require your table back at the end of your allocated time. 

We do have a small seating area to carry on enjoying your evening.

If you already have a booking with us, you can amend or cancel your booking via your confirmation email or social media.

If you still need assistance, please give us a call and a member of our team will be able to help you.

It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the time of booking, please contact the team directly on 02921 991 904 to discuss the requirements.

We understand the dangers to those with severe allergies, however due to our cooking environment there is a risk that traces of some allergens may be unintentionally included in the food we serve. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that meals will be free from some allergens. Please speak to our staff about the ingredients in your meal, when making your order.

To combat no shows, we request a card authentication to confirm your booking. No money will be taken from your account unless failure to show or give 24 hour notice of cancellation. Card details are stored on a secured digital system that no member of staff has access to. We cannot claim more than the funds requested.

A discretionary 12% service charge will be added to your bill. Our front of house and kitchen team receive 100% of this charge.

We are located within the North East section of The Coal Exchange Cardiff, guests are able to enter via the street entrance located on Mount Stuart Square or via the main hotel reception. 

Guests with impaired mobility will need to enter via the hotel entrance.

We offer a range of gift vouchers available to purchase via our website.

If you have been gifted one, bring it along with you and present it to our host on arrival.

We welcome children & babies of all ages. When you’re booking your table, ensure all children in your group are included in your total number of guests.

And if you need a highchair or extra space for a pushchair. Just let us know when you book and we’ll take care of everything.

Our dress code is smart-casual and quite relaxed.

We do allow small decorations in the restaurant area, we ask that you inform our team at least 48 hours before. 

If you would like to celebrate a special occasion with us, we’d be more than happy to help. Just let us know at least 48 hours before your booking and we’ll talk you through the available options.

You are, of course, more than welcome to bring your own celebration cake with you. Due to food hygiene regulations, we won’t be able to serve it to you, but we can present it at your table after your meal and keep it aside for you to take with you when you leave.

Cancellation Policy

Card details are required on booking and are held as a guarantee. If you need to change or cancel a booking, please call 02921 991 904 or reply to your email confirmation.

Selected special dining events require full payment/a deposit at the time of booking, these payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Children Menus

We offer a children’s menu for our young diners aged 2 – 12 years. Alternatively we offer small plates on our a la carte menu.

Gift Vouchers

If you have purchased or been gifted a voucher, bring the voucher with you and present it to our host on arrival.

 Discounts

If you have a discount please show the details of the discount to your server at the time of ordering. 

Deposits 

To combat no shows, we will request a card authentication to confirm your booking. No funds will be taken unless you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of your booking. If you need to cancel your booking, please call us on 02921 991 904 or reply to your email confirmation.
